For the longest time, i’ve always sort perfection to be the goal in everything i do; not anymore.

As i sit and reflect, i realize that perfection is the only reason why I don’t try new things anymore or follow my curiosity. it is the reason why i no longer write/share ideas on the internet, i no longer spend my weekends trying new activities, or even reading on topics i’m genuinely curious about. I see this mentality shift even in mundane things like journaling (writing perfectly in one go instead of making drafts and finetuning later).

Today, I’ve decided to try a different strategy. So instead of starting this blogpost with the hope of producing a perfect piece, I chose to start with curiosity knowing fully well it might not be perfect at first but choosing to continuosly write and hit publish until writing becomes second nature. Same applies to other aspects of my life: career, relationships, hobbies, etc.

Let’s see what the next few months holds for me.
